Let ’em in

Lots of concern lately about limiting refugees to Canada and the US, due to the fear of embedded terrorists.

Remember that these refugees are fleeing terrorism of one kind or another.

For every terrorist that might slip through the cracks, there are probably 100 more who are more anti-terrorist than either you or I.

And as our citizens, the children and grandchildren of former immigrants and refugees, inevitably become soft and complacent, we need a continual replenishment of young, thankful, hardworking immigrants and refugees.

So I’m willing to accept the risk of an occasional radical slipping through the cracks.

I don’t see any more risk than what we already have with our home-grown criminals, in fact I suspect that the criminal activity from the immigrants and their families will be far less.
